The recent convention re plastics has failed to reach any conclusive agreement. Not exactly surprising given the opposing interests taking part.

Love the advice just to “throw them away”. Where?

I assume you would take them to your local radiation decontamination site.

We have one of the 'Secret Nuclear Bunkers' near us so I suppose they would take them but I can't tell you where because it is a secret. :roflol:

They don't seem too clever at Walmart. They've abandoned the diversity and equality programme for employees and suppliers so that group of customers and those who sympathise are taking their trade elswhere. Loads of store closures going on.

I think it’s Target with the problem. Apparently half their sales are of imported goods as well, so are being hit with tariffs.
I knew there was a good reason why I don’t eat prawns any more. Importing them from Indonesia doesn’t quite fit with my original image of fresh local seafood! Always makes me laugh when fellow cruise passengers are getting all excited about the escargots. Maybe they are visualising a delicious French delicacy, raised on sweet lettuce and fresh herbs in a country garden. I’m guessing the reality is some ghastly snail factory farm, slimy and squalid. I don’t know, and I don’t want to know! I bet a lot of them are slugs!

I'm just wondering how the shrimps got contaminated.

The gist I got was that it was the shipping container that was contaminated. Offshore dumping of nuclear fuel rods one day, your dinner the next.

I had some Argentinian prawns a while back, not worth the money IMO.
