I've spotted this, not usually bothered what weeds are I just take them DSC07169.JPG DSC07170.JPG DSC07171.JPG out but I thought this was bindweed.
But the flowers suggest something else, any ideas.

I thought at first it was bryony but the leaves don't look quite right. Leaves are lobed and the plant has tendrils but not seen in the photo.

I dont think its Bryony I've seen that around and its a much bigger robust plant with berries now.

Its a twiner, which is why I thought bind weed.

        Google reckons -

The plant you've spotted is likely Black Bindweed (Fallopia convolvulus), also known as Wild Buckwheat.

Thanks @Pete8 , I think I'll get rid of it before it seeds.

          Not heard of it before.

I've seen that in my garden over the years, didn't know what it was called. I just pull it up.
Come to think of it, it hasn't been there this year ...

It used to be eaten, I believe the seeds were ground and put in gruel. I have it here as a gift from the neighbours bit I haven't tried cooking with it yet.
