@CarolineL I do use the orchid feed in the pink bottles, but have never looked at the back of the bottle. I don't use very much at all and put a few drops now and again in a warmed up container of rainwater. I use lots of Tomorite for all other plants, but the container doesn't have facility for just a few drops. But I will compare the two though.

I've always used Tomorite for flowering in the garden but not for indoor plants 'til now.

This probably isn't the thread to post my question but I can't find anywhere else.
      Anyway....
I bought a small monstera along with several other small house plants on the assumption that half of them would probably die. They haven't but that's another story.
The monstera is way too happy and is likely to outgrow it's spot. Can I prune it now and again to keep it a reasonable size or am I going to have to find it somewhere else?

Monstera deliciosa grows very big, you can cut the top with a 2-3 leaves and reroot. Anyway mature leaves are easily getting to 50cm diameter and together with petiole will be 1m maybe. If you don't have enough space worth to look at a smaller monsteras like monkey plant etc.

I've got Monstera adansonii, it's smaller and daintier than Swiss Cheese plant, and the leaves have more holes.

My Fishbone (Epiphyllum anguliger) is at it again. :)

Usually it opens one flower at the time, but this year it's trialling something new and is opening several each night. It's very hard to take photos though, and it's at its best past midnight which is a pity on a school night.

The scent lingers until morning though, very pleasant citrus-vanilla scent. :)

          The plant:

Buds starting to swell around 6pm (no idea what the spot is!)

          ...and finally open around 9pm:

I've only got a few cuttings, and one of them has a bud this year ...
Lovely to see so many flowers on yours

It's been standing in a saucer without a pot for months through the summer, and forgotten about under the staging in the greenhouse. Then a few weeks ago I put it, still without a pot, into a cold frame (meaning to pot it up one day but never remembering to do so)
I was surprised last week when I saw buds on it, so I potted it up with compost, brought it into the house, and now the buds are opening.
