Yes you sent me these last year,:blue thumb: I'm determined to give them all new compost next year, I've neglected them this year, they are drying off now.

Empty pots annoy me :) when fully dried, every autumn I take rhizomes out, let to dry for 1-2 days, and keep in tiny zip bags in vermiculite. Then, at feb-mar time I plant them again.

I just left them in their pots in the greenhouse, they all survived but my summer treatment wasn't as good as it should have been to get the best out of them.

@Victoria I looked to see if any were for sale and saw these ebay ones, eye watering prices!!!
Mine may only be 7/8" high but still a bargain, perhaps I should have bought the other one!

I don't remember this before, but my oleander in a pot has blooms.

Last Thursday when we were out in Silves we saw many in full bloom!

In about 15 yrs of growing Tetrapanax it flowers have never opened for me, they usually get frosted so here they are this year, the bees seem to like them. DSC07246.JPG

@Selleri The basic Passion flower ( cerulea ) usually survives from one year to the next but that flower is late isn't it ?
I only grow the edible variety ( edulis ) but it will only survive in the GH and even then needs protective covering. I lost one a couple of years ago due to very cold wather despite fleece etc. Am pleased with this current one tho as it has produced several edible fruit which have already ripened ( more usually late Oct/early Nov. ). I grow them from seed and they generally take 18 months or so from germination to the first fruit.

My red one flowered really well this summer, surprisingly I've just rooted 5 cuttings.
