People said that when they kicked out the Tories. Boy, were they wrong!! I genuinely don't think Farage could do any worse, and I'm willing to put that thought to the test. Under Labour this country is finished.
Just when I thought articles in our local on-line rag (GloucestershireLive) couldn't get any more ridiculous they prove me wrong. Brits urged to stock up on £4 item as Russia sends threats to strike If you want to save yourselves the effort of reading the article. The item they say we should stock up on is sticky tape to put across the windows in the case of a nuclear attack by Russia. As we have GCHQ about 4 miles away as the crow flies, and some clown decided it was a good idea to build it in the shape of a donut, perfect bullseye marked, I don't think sticky tape will do us much good.
During the Cuban crisis, when many people expected nuclear attacks, they told people to hide under tables @KT53. Farage would be even worse than anything we've seen so far and would bring Elon Musk and all his disinformation with him, swiftky followed by bully boys. How about a Green/Lib Dem coalition? They'd maybe not be any more efficient or effective but at least they'd be nice about it. As for France, people want the rich to contribute more to the national coffers instead of adding to the tax burden of the poor and middles and eroding social and health security funding. We could all do with more of this man's beliefs, especially over the pond:
Farage and Musk do not even get on - quite the reverse. As for Green/Lib Dem coalition, that is a proper giggle... Ed Davey had his fingers in the Post Office scandal for a start, and the nutters in the Greens apparently want to "ban landlords"... presumably the magic money tree would be doing overtime.
Got a feeling they might not be our friends... although this is apparently a good thing for the sale of sticky tape
