Well as it's the US and the officer will have a pistol to hand, just put a bullet in the tyres - even a Robot may find it a bit difficult to drive off with 4 flat tyres

I’m experiencing a fair bit of decreased functionality myself. Maybe I need an update.

I'm hoping that humans 2.0 have grease nipples on important joints, improved suspension and the spinal column needs a complete redesign why run the main wiring through a conduit prone to severing said wiring.
As for reproduction algae and bacteria have that sorted, just use fisson; quicker, simpler, less mess and no interaction with others required.

We also need to do something about teeth. How about having them fall out and replace themselves on a regular basis, like sharks?

@NigelJ and @Escarpment. Now wouldn't all that be wonderful? To start out again, refreshed and restored would be glorious.

Take up an Eastern religion, cross your fingers and hope that the next reincarnation is a decent human who enjoys gardening.

                Just had my grocery delivery.
Its not the first time but the drivers don't look old enough to drive to me.

They call you on the phone and say they are outside your door.

Then when you get to the door they say I rang the bell, but its not working, but it is, you have to press it, they seem so used to just touching things, rather than actually pushing a doorbell button it's not something they are familiar with.

It seems to happen a lot, when I go next door thiers plays music outside.

I've been infected by the touch screen problem; I was trying to pay for something at B&Q yesterday and the screen on the card machine showed red and green buttons for Yes and No (trying to get me to contribute to their charity - no thanks, I'll choose my own charities) and of course I was poking at the buttons on the screen and getting nowhere, it took me several attempts before it clicked I had to use the red/green physical buttons.

When we were on holiday I was taking photos with my camera (don't have a mobile) and someone we had become friendly wanted to look at them and then tried swiping to the next one - and kept trying! :heehee:

                              Hi,

I'm 78 and available; is the job still open @Tidemark ?
I can drop my standards to meet Eton levels.

At Specsavers in Batley I had to use a finger to sign my name on their screen; it never works OK; delivery drivers also used this method a lot but now they mostly take an image with their mobile.

                              Modern technology BAHHH.

                              Kind regards, Col.
