This is really sad as I thought Trump had some good points and was willing to go along with his thinking, but he 's
has proved a very weak individual apart from all his big talk.
He allowed himself to get sucked in by the Israelis who are total maniacs.

Trumpy mate, you started something you just haven't got a clue how to finish, just go to the care home and let the real people sort things out

The UK gets most of its oil imports from the USA and Norway with very little coming from Arabian states. The UK is more than self-sufficient for petrol production, so it remains a net exporter of petrol. Petroleum product imports increased by 5.9% from 2023, due to increasing demand and low refinery production. Approximately 40% of product imports were diesel and 33% were jet fuel.

The problem everyone has it's that Trump's relationship with Israel means that oil, as a global resource, now has limited supplies which puts up the price for everyone and, eventually, everything because oil is a major factor in transport costs. meanwhile, Trump's own interests in oil companies and refineries in the US mean that he is coining in the money and making himself richer every day.

The knock-on effects around the world on petrol, diesel and airline fuel costs and scarcity will make all aspects of life more expensive for everybody and Trump's inability to see consequences of any of his actions, let alone the possibility of starting a 3rd world war, will bring misery to women and children in the line of fire as well as in countries like yours where the lives and saftey of women and children come well down the list of priorities.

The other consequence of all this is USA's natonal debt which Trump has increased to $39trillion which will take you and your fellow citizens a long time to pay off but then republican presidents always increas the national debt.

 

He's fired them all.

Looks like he's going to walk away and leave a mess, what the balmy israelis are going to do, who knows they are totally as nutty as the ones they are fighting.

It would be nice if it could just be left to fester without affecting the rest of the world but I guess that's not possible.

 

Not all Israelis are barmy @pete but there is a system of coalition politics there that means, for a while now, that religious and right wing extremists can push their agenda against Palestinians and Muslims.

It seems Trumpty Dumpty has an idea for flying uranium out of Iran. It would be hilarious in a cartoon but, sadly, not in real life. A Fench general did give a hilarious, pithy opinion tho.

 

Just my opinion here.

But how would you like the US as your next door neighbour who wants your oil, precious metal and water? And you also know that they are not above attacking you to get those resources.

If we're smart, we'll push our oil east and west to other markets. Build damns on our tributaries to stop them from trying to drain the lakes to water the lawns of Kentucky.

Trump may be gone in a few years but his supporters are a large and strong group who lust for "thy neighbour's" property. They are not nice people, they are greedy and they are not well educated and believe all of the propaganda fed to them. They only care about #1.

A nasty group. And that is my neighbour.

I hope the King counts his medals before he returns home because Trump is not above stealing someone else's glory.

TBF to Trump, many, many Western politicians and leaders have been "taken in" by the Israelis. The reason? Money, money, money! A truly sad indictment of the democratic world's power structures and the failure of oversight.

My cousin's sister-in-law lives in America and she says everyone in that town, and indeed the whole area around, thinks Trump is mad.
