*Really* good point about the colours displayed on a screen ClaraLou.
Ive noticed it can make a significant difference to shade and depth of colour.

:D @ me chatting someone up for a cutting! Love it! Im going to give it a try! :D Its such a handsome plant I dont mind making a nelly of myself! Probably best if I dont take my own secateurs with me though! :)

Thanks for the clematis cuttings advice too, Ive always had patchy success rooting them. Hopefully my strike rate will improve. Layering is usually the way I go, more predictable results but low on return.

Hi, I got you mixed up with the other Victoria !

Just a quick note to say I havent forgotten you :)

The jasmine is just coming to the end of its flowering period.

So give it a week or so and it'll be in the post. :)

Jasmine all parcelled up and ready to be sent out!

Guaranteed to get to you before Cristiano Ronaldo wipes that smirk from his face. :D

Brilliant, you are online- I just pm'd you.

Cristiano is good looking, but he KNOWS it! Goodlooking, but not attractive, if you understand me!

Portugal v Brasil será um fósforo de futebol muito excelente!

PS For those of us who are not lucky enough to be sunning ourselves in Portugal, Sainsburys is selling small pots of Jasminum beesianum for £2.99 each. The plant display tends to cheer up my rather dreary weekly shops.

:rotfl: Actually I quite like the way he always looks as though he's just fallen out of a tough Toxteth boozer. At least he doesn't seem vain.

Well, I'm attracted to him .. :luv:

    Ã? verdade ...

Strangely, ClaraLou, most of us who live here don't sun ourselves ... with there being over 300 days of sunshine every year, you just get a tan naturally. :D

Yes, but there's vain and then there's plain ugly. Rooney is definitely the latter, sorry.

Id forgotten what a wicked swerve this thread took!

Hi Victoria! My wall of Jasmine Bessanium (whose name I forgot, and I have to thank JWK for finding this thread for me) is in flower again and is looking lovely.

How is yours doing in the sunshine, and is it more fragrant in the sunshine?

Hiya Mel ... answered on your search query thread.

I think there were three good roots in your package and so I planted them in three places ... two 'disappeared' and one has survived and is doing a bit like yours 'rooting itself around' but sadly no flowers yet .. but I am :love30: that I shall have some this year.

Will keep you posted ... :)
