I know it's spring, but I was in Tesco's today and came across a couple in their late 30's early 40's having a snog by the bakery. Enough to put me off food, let alone shopping for it!

:eeew: Be thankful it was only snogging {wonder who invented that word :D}and nothing else :D The ladybirds are all at it as well in my garden and it is funny watching them wiggle around as they do it.They sort of sway from side to side :D

I don't know about Tesco's on Man but over here they are all empty when they should be full due to the Petrol prices and the price of all the stuff in the shops :eeew:

I find that annoying, I think it is bad manners to do anything in public that makes other folk feel uncomfortable.

Not nice Sheal. I don't like seeing the muffin tops that some people like to flaunt at the first hint of warm weather.

The Stupid Pidgeons were at it this morning, tis a clumsy affair for them. Lots of flapping & bowing.

Stupid Pidgeons ate all my slug pellets.

There was a case a while back of a woman being evicted from a supermarket for going shopping in her bikini top (I assume she had something on the bottom half as well). She was well and truly old enough to know better. If she'd tried it in my local Sainbury's she'd have received a highly appropriate punishment, since it's chilled to the temperature of an unusually severe Mongolian winter even in a heatwave. People in full thermals have been known to die of exposure just lingering a little too long over the Taste The Difference pomodoro toms.

          Hi Kandy,
The supplies in Tesco's here are more expensive anyway, import fees are passed on to the customer. Having said that the prices have gone up anyway because of the mess the English government have got us into!
While I was in there recently one lady complained the price of her tomao sauce had gone up 70p. Ridiculous!

            Ziggy,
Yes, I have changed into a chaffinch. Snapped this little fella a couple of years ago, he was swiping food off my plate while having lunch at Shin Falls in Scotland. Bold as brass he was.
Don't you think he's better looking than my statue of Robert de Brus (Robert Bruce) though?
I'd best explain. I'm a Scottish medieval history freak!
Your funny ears seem to have dissappeared too. Hehe!

Tesco must be fairly relaxed on IoM. When I go to our local tesco, I'm generally far too busy playing trolley dodgems, dodge the unruly runaway child, negotiate the trolley road block, kick the stupidly parked trolley and avoid the nutter to notice if anyone has stopped for a snog.

Sheal what part of man are you from?We stayed at Cronky Vodey some years ago and had an enjoyable two weeks on the island.:)We didn't have digi cameras all those years ago so all our piccys are in print. We loved the trip over on the Cattamaran and have often talked about going back but the travelling over to there prices would probably put us off nowadays:rolleyespink:

I forgot that you would have to pay import charges for all the stuff went over to your island. There is a petition up in our village as we might well lose the village bus now that we waited years for and for Mr Kandy to bus to work he reckons the 13 miles would take a couple of hours by bus {if we still have it}so he has no option but to use the car

The problem isn't just in this country {and yours}but even the European countries economies are in the shxt so we can't even clear off to live over there:D
