I just returned to work today after having had 10 weeks off for a number of reasons the main one being Major Depressive Disorder. Normally when I have a spell I will isolate myself and I lose interest in pretty much everything. It is a real struggle just to get necessary things done. This time though I found it somewhat easier to cope because of GC and all the great people on here. It really gave me something to look forward to and helped keep me interested in the garden as well as giving me a laugh when I needed it. Sooooooo........

    :thankyou:

    to everyone!!!
This really is a great place with great people!!!!

          Back at work eh?

You'll be getting withdrawal symptoms from the abuse suffered by involvement with GC.

Work will never be the same again - still we'll be here when you get back to keep you on your toes.

          Best of Luck.:dbgrtmb:

I am glad that you are back on track just at the time of the year when Scandinavians start the winter depression cause of the dark impending...

I also feel depressed sometimes. It can be for three main reasons
                  1) serious lack of bucks 2) migraine 3) children having a bad day all at the same time
But unlike most people I am not easy to cheer up, so I would not even read at the forum posts in that instance.
                  ______________________________________________________

On this occasion I would like to pass the message that most elderly people get depressed because they cannot get out and about as before and all is left to do is concentrate on the thought of death.

And that applies especially in the winter.
So, if you can ease the feeling up with a telephone call, a quick chat at the supermarket, a coffee, by any means do so, because it is something of great importance that cannot be bought, not even with Mastercard...
