St Blaise are a Major player in the world of Historic Building Conservation.

They have undertaken Major works like The British Museum, Windsor Castle(after the fire) & Clarendon Palace.

My Colleagues & I have all worked for them, I was a Site Manager with them for 5 years.

St Blaise Ltd Repair & Conservation of Historic Buildings

Just heard that the Administrators have been called in. People we know who still work there are owed about a months wages which they are not lightly to get.

I feel for them as I never got my last months pay when Corinthian went bust.

But my immediate thoughts are, how can I get the message out to all their current clients that we are in a position to pick up & complete the works in progress ?

Do you know how some of the clients might be Zig? If so, what about calling them, or mailing off a brochure?

Thats what i'd like to do Penny, need some inside info, might pop round to their office tommorow & see who I still know there. Probably will be someone disgruntled enough to spill the beans.

Go to those people you know and tell them what you told us with supporting evidence and see if they let you nick their job.

I will if I can find them Mira, tempted to put an ad in the local paper, using the same wording as St. Blaise.

              Looks a bit repetitive though:DOH:

Are you going to contact the Administrator regarding the possibility of assignment/novation of existing contracts?

Ziggy, how about advertising in the local newspaper near to their offices. You could say you would be willing to take on any unfinished work.

Or, go straight to the top and speak to the boss there, see if he will put work your way. :)

I dont know much about this kind of thing, but will not the unfinished work be put out to tender once the company is wound up?

Its up to the administrator to sell off any contracts to the highest bidder (what Scrungee said).
