Just opened the Post....

    ....And i've got my completion certificate:party:

    Didn't think i'd ever get it.

    Now that opens a few doors, sending off all the paperwork for the vat refund.

    Have sent a copy to the building society, they will give me a 1% discount on the mortgage for all the eco friendly stuff in the place(about 16k's worth)

    I can finally put it on the market.:dbgrtmb:

              :thumbsup: Exactly Zigs, people are just starting to think about moving house now the Xmas, NY period is over & normality returns... I pray you will get a quick sale as it sounds a very unique cosy little place crying out to be loved again by someone new...

                      Still got some finishing touches to do on the place, not much, but very difficult to do with no money. VAT recon 6 weeks till the refund so will crack on then.

                      It'll be so nice to go into a kitchen & not have to clear up all of Mrs Lazymoo's rubbish up before I can get to a surface to make something.

                      Watched the Hairy Bikers earlier, while the Crab & Leek Flan was in the oven, they had cleared all the earlier stuff & had a clean kitchen to dish up in.Thats how I like to operate too.

                      End of the meal, there are only the plates you've eaten off to wash up.
