    What are Your Most Nostalgic Songs Or Song ? And Why ?.

    I Personally Have Three, As Follows ------.

    Passing Strangers/ Sarah Vaughan and Billy Eckstine. Mrs Music And I Did A good duo version of this in the 60s.

    Moon River/ Andy Williams. My Oldest Daughter, When she was a baby, had this recording worn out. accidentally we found out she loved this song,when she cried we put it on ,and there was an immediate silence ,it was GREAT.

    Blueberry Hill/ Fats Domino. This was the First Music I learned to play fully on the Guitar.

    First one that comes to mind is Moonlight and roses....my old dad loves it...he used to sing it to me when i was small....which is funny really as he's not one to break out in a song:sunny:i've got loads but they are usually weepys:cry3:

    "Somewhere" by P.J.Proby, many years ago I was dancing with someone to that song. I have never forgotten him or the song!!!!!!!!!!:wub2:

    Polly Put the Kettle On. It is so simple, yet it perfectly sums up human nature. Because Polly had something that people wanted, they all went to her house to get some. When Suzy ended tea break, and therefore there was no longer anything on offer, did people stick around because they liked Polly's company? Did they stick around because they wondered if Polly was feeling lonely, and that's why she offered the tea around? No. They all went away.

      My lovely Golden soul mate (golden retriever) would sit looking at me with his beautifull big brown eyes and listen to me singing Twinkle Twinkle little star..... and then he would drift off to sleep everytime....:wub2:
