    To be completely honest this news saddened me. Only Friday I was playing their songs for my daughter . He was only 66 years young :(

      Sad news indeed . watching the Monkees on a Saturday evening was a must :dbgrtmb: Some good tracks as well , they were sneered at as a "plastic" group , but it was cool to sneer at anything pop in them days :D

      Two little trivia questions ( no Googling now !)
      1 - Which two TV series did Davy appear in , in the early sixties ? ( we all know one ... )
      2 - Which other David Jones changed his name due to the succes of the Monkees ?
