    Excellent haul Kaz :)

    I like the idea of asking a local window company for their old windows. I'd be interested to hear what you get :blue thumb:

      A few more things to look out for:

      * A large yard or garage to store everything
      * A set of coil springs
      * A set of brake pads/discs
      * A clutch

              Would that be shed with a tiled roof?

              I've successfully used feather edge fence boarding for low raised beds for growing the likes of raspberries, so I can raise them slightly above my heavy clay soil. If you've got lots of boards like that you could always use some to construct a 'hardening off box', something with relatively low sides, but providing some protection at the sides from wind/sun for the likes of runner/french beans, squashes, etc., and enabling both/either a net curtain/sheet cover to be thrown over on a cold night, or the likes of sheets of newspaper to cover the plants on a windy/sunny day (to prevent scorching) without being blown away.
