Well, I'm here at our grand virtual party. Just drinking wife's Carlsberg for now, but once Mr Jack appears, I may well open the brandy and/or the rum.

He'll retire when they unlock the cage on Monday morning - lets just hope it's not another Scottish Bank Holiday

Sorry I am late, suprise family bash, evening meal at swanky restaraunt and all that with champers

Can someone stick these sausage rolls in the oven, the bacon and egg pies are best cold

Virtual Bars open, I have paid for the mobile bar all drinks until 02:00 are free on me
Just the basic stuff though no drinks over £6 though you can order doubles

Yep they cracked (will know if they lied when I get my salary statement end of the month)
I advised them I thought it a little harsh, not to let me go early, when after four hours work anyone can go home on full pay ill, or indeed be off sick on full pay for six months
I could have gone sick including a doctors line from beginning of the month, but no I worked,
Well they kept me working until the last second at 15:00 then I was taken like a prisoner (Their early weekend was threatend :-)

At precicely 15:00, they shut my computer access down, took my keys and Identity card, building pass, documents etc, and two of them escorted me off the premises.
to my car, then as I had no access pass they opened the gates and I was seen to leave the premises for good, with no return access, so much for HMRC

Mind it was the same in the RN 22 YEARS I could, go anywhere Military, and was what is called POSITIVELY VETTED, Top Secret and above, one minute after escorted out of the gates I could never return, to see or speak to friends or visit the bars within a Military establishment as I was now Mister McHammocklashing :-(

The Australians give ex service/Civil Serpent personel a gold Veterans card, obiously you can not access special places, but you can enter dockyards and Military establishments to keep up with old freinds (I like that)

Anyway enough moaning I am now free and starting my new life in THE GARDEN

Better late than never, so what are you having, bars free, up spirits stand fast the holy ghost
