    photo.JPG Hi,
Can anyone tell me what these seedlings are?
I did sow seeds myself in the area where they are growing but they don't look like the plant I sowed!

Bittercress is an edible 'weed' - perhaps ziggy will be along in a minute with a recipe.

The Evening Primrose will come up eventually, ground has been too cold & wet for most things.

Bittercress is best with olive oil, salt & freshly ground pepper.

      TBH
I've never found Oenothera to be overly hardy, although it has always self seeded strongly at work!! Very strongly in fact.

It grows very well along motorway verges, and I find the usual one, cant remember the name, grows best from overwintered rosettes.

A friend of mine had a wonderful self-set evening primrose with flowers that were shaded with orange/pink. Anyone got any recommendations for a seed variety that will be this colour?
