    Thanks guys, i planted it myself from a root stock i think was so long ago i cant remember what it is and it doesnt seem to do much either....

    Difficult ... has it bloomed for you? Could be Kniphofia, the Red Hot Poker.

    I planted three here ... but they have got lost in my bed of giant Geraniums (5 foot tall plus) so must try to dig them up and plant elsewhere.

    Arrrrr now i remember. I bought some red hot pokers from the pound shop ages ago but i thought they had all failed to sprout. It must be a red hot poker then!

      Apparently they love full sun , but planted mine in a shady part and actually started to produce leaves about 4/5 feet long and looked better then the one in the sunny part of the garden

        Thanks alot guys. Think i will plant this out today then. Always amazes me when i get a plant I.D from a picture like that :biggrin:
