Advice on base and anchoring of 2nd hand greenhouse

I've just acquired a 6' x 8' gardman poly greenhouse. The greenhouse has no base and will be sited in a prevailing wind sheltered area (slotted fence to west, shed/fence to south). I was thinking of building a base with 3 x 4 timber but I'm struggling to come up with the best way to anchor the unit. The restricted area isn't lending itself to paving slabs. ANY IDEAS?

 

How about a hollow square of concrete strengthened with a bit of scrunched up chicken wire, then a couple of courses of brick. You always feel you need just a bit more height in a greenhouse.

Or four 2' X 2' paving slabs (one at each corner with holes drilled through and wire the greenhouse down to those. Cheers, Tony.

 

I actually have 80 bricks that have been sat in the garden for 7 years. I had thought about using them as a base (single width double height) and screwing the greenhouse to them. It was the cost of the concrete foundation that was putting me off

 

If the concrete 'ring is only 4 inches thick, this should cut down the cost and you could then plant in the soil or in containers inside the greenhouse.

If the bricks have holes in them, place them on their sides to allow a breeze through your greenhouse as it is stagnant air that promotes fungusssessss virussseeesss and 'stuff'.
