Any ideas as to what it is, and how do I care for it with regards to pruning?

    Thanks in advance..........

I'm pretty sure its a Dogwood, but Others might pin it down further.

    I have never pruned ours.
Just love it as it is.
    Pruning it could spoil it.
    It never gets any taller.

It's about 2.5metres, but it will need cutting for the wall to be repaired..........

Silver Surfer has got it dead right. Also known as Japanese snowball bush. I would have thought it could be judiciously pruned after flowering, but with the sensitivity that I know Longk will employ.:WINK1:

    Thanks!
Not too sure about my "sensitive" pruning though..........

Sadly, it needs a rather severe chop as it's in front of the wall that has to repaired.
