    As I recall Harold and his team won the semi-final against the Danes at Stamford Bridge but lost out to the French in the final. If only they had goal line technology in 1066 to prove that Harold didn’t die from an arrow in the eye but was definitely fouled on account of being hacked into several pieces by Norman back four.

      It wasn't the french. France as we know it didn't exist then. The Normans were descended from the Norse, who came from Scandinavia, where they bred far superior warriors.

      Anyone heard the result from the competition tonight?

      Germany beat Greece 4 - 2, so now Greece are knocked out of the Euro. Angela Merkel did half look pleased.
