Good morning all my rose friends,Jenny would it be at all possible to do a petal count of your beautiful rose as it would help me tremendously to know the exact amount of petals on a bloom in the I D process
          ;):ThankYou:

That's an extremely interesting request Woo. I am on the case right now: How many petals has this rose got 9 Aug 2012 001.JPG

I counted 25 plus five little petaloides in the centre around a crown of stamens. Classic rose perfume - a bit like grandma's apple pie#

Some roses which are currently in bloom ...

Unnamed one which was one small 'house plant' bought for two quid (and which was actually four plants which have been split) ...

Unnamed cream patio rose purchased from B&Q ...

              Sceptre'd Isle ...

              Lady of Shalott ...

Good afternoon Jenny at the moment I have "Dublin Bay" a little concerned with the scent as different rose people all describe it differently:)

Thank you for your research and possible conclusion. I have viewed several Googled piccies of it and the growth habit looks right. It is full of flowers again today, I will behappy to accept it as Dubin Bay,

This is the final Joie de Vivre rose. She has produced 9 blooms and is looking in good health with no blackspot. Rose and Mirabilis Jalapa 002.JPG
