As the guy on the One Show said the other night: "we're not disabled dealing with our disabilities; we're able and dealing with our abilities" Sorry, should have remembered his name, but it escapes me; but he is South African (very handsome!), has no legs and made history by competing alongside fully bodied athletes.
Yes very admirable no doubt about that, but I kind of don't understand how this event works Will they all be tested for performance enhancing drugs? one assumes not, but if not, then are we not meant to take it too seriously??
