Do we know when this Felix chap is going to give it another go...last i heard it was thursday...don't want to miss it

 

Not heard any more yet, but i'll keep an eye out.

Just heard they are sending Sarah Brightman to the space station, wonder if shes going to jump from there?

 

She might do Zig...she's always had a thing for star ship troopers

 

As long as she doesn't loose her heart this time

Just had a look around, looks like Thursday morning, that was on a USA site so afternoon for us.

Just had a look and it was going to be today but weathers not right so now scheduled for sunday or monday....

 

Yeah. "I was gonna do it, but the wind was wrong... I was gonna do it but my bike's bust... I was gonna do it but my mam shouted me in for me tea".

Joking of course. Conditions have to be perfect when you're about to do something mental. I can remember as kids we used to visually check the makeshift ramp several times before trying to jump our bikes over the line of kids laid on the pavement just beyond the ramp.

Whats the latest on this ? I can't find anything on the news.
I remember the Kittinger jump in 1960 , where his pressure glove failed and his hand swelled to twice its size. So it is a very hostile place to go , does this jump have any practical purposes ?
