I can't remember jeans ever going our of fashion, but then I was never much of a follower of fashion so it could have happened without me noticing:)

Leggins have been in fashion now for decades. Flabby ladies that want to look toned but can't be bothered to exercise wear them, falsely believing that a bit of light fabric is enough to hold everything in place.

The Seventies proved that every so often the rag trade gurus come to the conclusion that the rest of the world's population is as clinically insane as they are.

I can see you in a frock coat and lace cravat.

What about Tudorbethan? Codpieces, tights for blokes and slashed sleeves.

I spent the 70s in flowing chesecloth with bare feet and flowers in my hair. Or should that have been the 60s?

Yes! I used to drench myself in this stuff when I was 17. To this day it instantly brings the smell of hippy back to me. I still love the Indian cotton, would never wear that scent now.
