Hi. I was walking past a garden yesterday and saw a couple of plants I would really like to identify. The first is a beautiful shrub/tree which stands about 5 feet high with gorgeous green shiny leaves and yellow/white berries. It kind of hangs over the wall and looks really pretty. The second was in a lovely blue Mediterranean pot and looks like a mini phormium but I have not been able to locate it on the internet! It has a pink tinge near the centre and is about 12" tall. It is really striking and I would love a few for my pots. The nearest I got was Deschampsia! I would really appreciate any help. Thank you

Not sure on no 2, but no 1 looks like one of the variegated yuccas, probably a form of Y. filamentosa, possibly Y. flaccida.

      Hi Janie,
welcome to Gardeners Corner. I'm not too good at ID's on Reeds and Grasses but there are plenty of members who are. They'll be along soon to help. In the meantime, why don't you have a wander round? Lovely threads to read here,

Thanks Jenny for your warm welcome, this is the first time I've ever joined a forum and it's great! I'm about to have a wander round as you suggest, there's some really good advice. Thank you. Janie

        Welcome to GC Janie. :dbgrtmb:
The plant in the pot is definitely a variegated Yucca of some kind, possibly 'Colour guard'.
The shrub in your second photo looks like Cotoneaster salicifolius 'Rothschildianus'.

              Welcome Janie :sign0016:....

I would agree with what's been said above; a variegated Yucca & a yellow berried form of Cotoneaster :dbgrtmb:
