Night Vision Glasses

I am in a pine forrest and I have dropped the needle, it is dark and I have been walking for about two hours
I tried to seek the direction but first I could not see the illuminous points of this compass, so I lit a match and the thing went up in flames, trying to put it out I dropped the needle HELP

Ye daft nugger, all you need to do is rub 2 boy scouts together, then the jimmy saville operation will find you no matter which time frame you are in.

 

Will it work with Sea Scouts,?
They all have their woggles out
We have been trying to light a fire with a magnifying glass, but it seems not to be working, it is 0200 in the Northern hemisphere
