I bet it looks a whole lot different now CRG! :dbgrtmb: It's amazing how much is produced when you start a tidy up, it seems a lot more than when it's attached to various plants. :)

I'm so envious. Can't grow roses here. For sentimental reasons,I tried......very, very hard.....to grow a David AUstin rose called Happy Child. Lovely yellow and wonderful scent but grew it for the name. Clearly, chimneyrosegarden, you like roses. Clever aren't I to work that out?

Verdun, there is no reason why you can't grow them in large pots, but they will have to be fed regularly during the growing/flowering season. :)

finished the edging today and swept up the path. working on wildlife area to side of shed quickly this morn. found an old hanging basket triple hook so put some bird feeders and a wind chime up.

Little chimney very excited about seeing birds in her garden. done my best to make it cat proof. repaired the little bug hotel on the arch and put some metal edging and bark down to make it look a bit neater:)

The majority of my roses are in planters. They do take a bit more looking after (as do the rest of my containerised plants), but I enjoy giving them the attention so it's not a chore and you get very well rewarded :wub2:

a bad day in the chimneyrosegarden garden today. Mr chimneyrosegarden decided to help paint the walls and not a rose box bush or camelia has escaped paint spatters!
I have tried to get the paint off the leaves but i cant :(
I did ask him not to get any paint on the plants. Will it hurt them? I am so upset I was busy helping out with scout post and trusted him to at least try and be careful :(

I think it depends on how bad it is CRG. Have you tried hosing them off? Other than that I think you'll have to wait until it grows out. You know what they say about wanting a job done properly?! :)

BIg day for me today. Off back to docs today for more investigations and blood tests a to why my blood tests keep coming back wrong. Will have to get out into the garden today to take my mind off it.
