Warning - If you're selling your house

Housetree, the online estate agents have gone into liquidation.

Only found out when my property dissapeared from the Rightmove website.

Did a google, i'm not the only one who's lost their money, £500

Some folk are at the exchanging contracts stage, with no way of contacting their buyers.

I paid on my credit card so i'm going to see if its possible to get a refund through them.

O joy.

 

Its still on Zoopla, but don't know for how much longer.

Blimey! Sorry to hear that Zigs, but yes, it's worth trying to reclaim from your CC: good luck with that.

 

I've just bombed an email enquiry off to them, just have to wait & see now. Feeling bad as I put a friend onto them as well

 

Don't feel bad, Zigs: afterall, you didn't bankrupt the company.

 

Did you get a 'hard' copy of the EPC? (wondering whether or not that will need paying for again from another provider, or there's something that can be salvaged)

 

I've got the file on my computer Scrunge, just not printed it off.

P.S. Looked like House Tree have been a bit short of cash for some time, and that's assuming under Liabilities they'd included for the all outstanding work that they'd already been paid for
