ID please

No idea what this is, it was given to me last year and I was told it was a 'water' plant. Well the only 'water' it got was a lot of rain (and melted snow ) because it remained all winter in the bag I brought it home in (yes, yes, shame on me )

But, I'd like to give it a permanent home and I need to ID it and seek advice please. It is a small plant.

Lysimachia mummularia? Or Creeping Jenny by it's common name

 

From the colour of the leaves it looks like Lysimachia nummularia Aurea.

Cor, I rescued some of that stuff out of the skip at my local Aldi a few weeks ago (tip - always keep a stick with a hook on the end in your car and park next to garden centre skips).
