    I think it may be a weed - Shiny Geranium lucidum.

    Then its not a weed:)

    There are many definitions of a 'weed', but it usually boils down to just being a plant growing where you don't want it. If you like that, and you're ok with where it is, then its not a weed.

    Growing in my garden, I have feverfew and those wild geraniums you see everywhere. I want flowers in the garden. Ones that put themselves there save me a job.

      :) it stays :) there'd only be bare soil there if I pulled it out anyway ;)

        The bees certainly like this! Maybe having the odd wildflower in the bed won't be such a bad thing ;)
