      @Zigs, I've checked, its tonight. That video suggests its possibly tomorrow (say saturday on it).

      So just in case anyone else notices the Saturday bit, its tonight :)

          The clouds are dispersing nicely here. Although I've just been out for a look and failed to locate the moon.

                No significant clouds. I can even see one star. Yet no moon. None at all. Not even a red one. It must be there somewhere. I'll look out the back at some point.

                  To all those who missed it, this was a penumbral eclipse. The moon dips into the earths outer shadow or Penumbra. To the untrained eye you would hardly notice any difference as the moon just becomes slightly less bright. You do not get the 'bite' of the classic eclipse which only happens when the moon slides into the proper, shadow of the Earth, the Umbra.
