Body Mass Index

Can't remember where I got it to get the code.

 

Apparently I'm overweight. I knew that anyway - the Doc told me the other day despite passing the "MOT" that he did on me (except for the LOW blood pressure). He's my neighbour and every time he comes round I'm cooking something "bad" (the last three times were cauliflower cheese, moussaka and lasagne!), so he insisted I should have one. Apparently my cholesterol is lower than his is, and my lung function is far stronger than my 20/30 a day habit should allow it to be So the good news is that I can continue to eat loads of cheese and probably partake of a few ceegars too!

But seriously, it takes no account of my muscle density etc. My chest is far bigger than my waist, which is sadly a little bigger than the hips (and not a six pack unfortunately). In short, I am as strong as an ox. And I still have good stamina too. So, as Doc said, I can ignore the BMI figure.

I'm not complacent. I'll take time for a cholesterol check, continue to watch what I eat (I actually do eat fairly healthily) and continue to be active.

... how is your neighbour's (GP's!) stress levels?

My GP deserves every penny (IMHO)

 

I tend to agree.

Difference is, he's sat on his ass all day so has to work at his fitness, whereas I'm on my feet all day and seem to get away with blue murder!

I've just got back in from the shops. I have tiramisu, strudle, and profiteroles among other things.

 

Yeah, but, it's not "seasonal" Jenny ... so, by my reckoning, you should be pulling *up* daisies at this time of year
