Just spent an hour showing a family round, they were originally from Guildford, where I used to live, got chatting & found the Dad is my old art teacher, we just didn't recognize each other after 34 years

We now live in Portugal because of a 'Small World' holiday in 1984 ... so, one never knows ...

 

Do you know i've promptly forgotten his name again If you don't back up a memory, it just drops off the end of the list Just messaged my cousin to see if she can remember.

I did, no luck there, just some talk about our R.E. teacher, the police didn't like all the pics of little girls they found on his computer apparently.

He used to wear full priests robes in School & used to love performing mock weddings with us when we were 11, till I questioned the legality of it, him being a real priest and all. Thought 11 was a bit young to have to go thru a divorce.

 

There's really no reply to what you've said above Zigs. It happens all to often in the 'church'. I remember somebody telling me years ago have you ever noticed..... where there's a church you will nearly always find a pub close by. A lot of priests think they are holier than thou!
