    Now, I know its the Daily Fail, but for once I think they may be about right (not least as they are quoting the Met Office);

    Its reckoned that the current wet and windy weather is going to continue until the end of January, and to be honest that seems fairly realistic to me.

    So, how long before we have a hosepipe ban?

      To be fair it's not been that wet up here, constant wind yes but not the torrential downpours everyone else is getting further down south.
      Looking at the jet stream patterns your right it's not going to change anytime soon.
      But to be fair I'd rather have this mild wet windy weather for the gardens sake but the cold clear frosty ones for me :)

          Already got one here, if you used a hosepipe it would tip Somerset over the edge and it would collapse into the Bristol Channel taking me and Jiffy with it :runforhills:

                    Up here in Central Scotland we have so many small Boats and Canoes at present it resembles Lake Chchicaca in Peru.:biggrin:.

                    On Passing We don't Say "Hows it Gawn Pal"?,;).

                    We now say"Hola, Buenas Tardes Senior" !!,:blue thumb:.
