I take it was only a horse no rider, with me it was 4 horse's with 4 riders next time it may not be so lucky

I bet the ower will not come forward, sad about the one's that had to lose there live's

 

We always carry a lead rein and a spare dog lead in the car. They wouldn't necessarily have prevented that tragic accident, but if you have the means to get stray animals off the road it just might prevent some dreadful accident.

 

Couldn't agree more "M". I cannot abide them either. I knit much too tightly to be adept with a circular needle.
I can knit a small round flower "stem" of 2 or 3 stitches using 2 double point needles but that's about it,

There is absolutely no excuse for that, they are risking the lives of the horses, the people in the cars who could hit them as well as their own lives. Perhaps the local police could talk some sense into them?

Very sad to hear you've been having trouble with irresponsible riders. It sounds as tho you know the individuals Jiffy? If you do and you know where they keep their horses I would contact the Police after all they were potentially causing a serious hazard to you and their horses, forget them! Often if the Police are of the cooperating variety they will go and have a quiet word. If that falls on "stoney ground" they just might find something else to cause the riders to sit up and take notice! I know of a case not so long ago when a horse owner was being less than cooperative and the Police managed to find all sorts of defects on their car!

 

No i don't,there are part of a bigger group of riders with dogs, any way, the way that some of the followers drive about, it wouldn't be long before some thing happerns within there group

 

How about this, went to the cinema last night to see Hunger Games 2. A small bag of wine gums was £3.35! By the look of the hot dogs, I'm not sure what kind of meat they contain, if any.

 

Blimey £3.35....and here's me thinking Dick Turpin was dead

 

But they weren't just any wine gums they were M&S wine gums made from grapes crushed by Virgin women from Essex

 

You'd have got them cheaper if they were crushed by Yorkshire women in their wellies
