We lost our dear old cat last year. Your friend Zena may no longer be there, but the happy memories will always stay with you.

 

Will you all stop being so nice, just makes me blub even more and I'm running out of tissue! So appreciated, your touching words are taken to heart, in time I will remember the wee soul with laughter but afraid it's just a torrent of tears atm. She has been buried in her favourite "sunny spot". I'm going to plant some tete a tete Daffodils in her honour. Little rays of sunshine, like her.

 

Power cuts, 11 yesterday 8 already this morning and counting, i've used 8 fingers so far and i'm taking off my shoes and socks,but what happerns when i get to 20,i don't have enough fingers and toes

 

Yes, right in the sticks, some houses don't have mains power and 1 house has no water and no mains power

And that's if you have nice neighbours, peace&quiet No, nice scenery Sort of, privacy No,utilities are a drawback Yes, and when you have a nasty neighbour you make sure you don't talk about things like one neighbour did , she talked about she Daughters wedding to him, the day before the wedding he (the nasty neighbour) got the muck spreader out the day before, and the road was covered in muck 6inch deep, what nice guy. but now he's gone

Don't have birthday cake, but we always have lots of candles in the house as power cut happern all the time
