Oh the irony of having to take 10 different e-readers on holiday because all the books you want to read are only available for one/other of them!

Not quite the same as taking a thumping big James Cavell novel (remember his books?!) on holiday and one of us tearing it in half, when we got to that point, so the other could start reading!

Have to say though that as a "family" (which includes the 4 of us plus In-laws) the ability to share all our books between us (as an Amazon "group" or whatever it is called) is very handy, and economical. Not quite sure what happens if the kids decide that they want to also read 50 Sheds of Grey!!

Can you save it via your computer as a .txt file, or is it locked in the format you've currently got it in?

Is that a fantasy novel for gardeners?

Would you get dragged off to the Green Room of Rain?

When I went to the Amazon site and clicked 'download' it turned up on my computer then informed me it had been stored on my Amazon cloud. But I'll try another one and see if there are any other options but I suspect not.

@Kristen, my first Sony refused to talk to my PC so I had to get another one. Of course, if I got a Kindle it would download direct but I am still not going there!

Ah, I think I might know what you need to do. Have you downloaded the separate Amazon downloader? I had to do that before it would transfer to my Mac properly
