Would cut out the cost of printing (and counting) ballots too, and more easily? cater for multiple languages, and be easier for disabled people - e.g. blind voters. I can't see that the hiccups that have occurred, security-wise, are significant (well, assuming the sort of device where you physically have to visit a polling station, rather than just whipping out your iPhone APP and voting on that on the bus to work!!)

But how would you spoil your ballot with "None suitable" (surely THE most popular choice?!!)

I don't think a NO YES vote will cause a recession in England ... but some/many?? businesses and individuals bail out of Scotland then I expect that will not be good for Scottish economy - I think that will only be reflected in share price of Scottish companies (I suppose that might impact England via Pension Funds hold stock in Scottish Companies) and house prices up North.

I suspect a lot of the stock price fall has already happened, due to uncertainty, so it might be that once the vote is known, either way, that the stock price will recover.

        Sorry, I meant a YES vote - twit-that-I-am!

Scotland is 10% of the population of the UK. Even if business thinks that Scotland, travelling its journey alone from now on, is in trouble I am struggling to imagine what cause for concern they would have that the other 90% is going to underperform as a consequence.

Mind you, if I could predict the Stocks & Shares market I wouldn't be sat here typing this, I'd be ... hmmm ... now what WOULD I be doing I wonder? :heehee:

If the 'yes' campaign wins the Scottish referendum , can we expect refugee camps in Dover full of Scots looking for a better life in Syria? :dunno:

I really liked that One Numptie note with Salmonds picture on it.
So thats the currency sorted, the Scottish Numptie it is then.

There is a very subtle implication at the very end of the video that implies, ever so subtly, that Anonymous are behind the video. If that's true, that would make it so funny.

For the non-geeks amongs us, Anonymous are an elusive team of hackers who seem to want people to believe they are a sort of cyber-Robin Hood, using the interweb, often very advanced hackery (but not always) to expose what they see as wrongdoing.

My mum said on the phone that if the Yes camp wins, and she was younger, she wouldn't hesitate to up sticks and head south; worries me a bit that if it is a yes vote, she is going to be seeing out her retirement years in a place where she is no longer happy or feels comfortable.
