It's a Rutland 504 12 volt wind charger. But the French word for it sounds better - Éolienne Back up for the solar panels, 3 weeks with very little Sun and I only had enough power for the lights
That'll shed a bit more light on things for you Zigs! Did you need planning permission for it? It could also double up as a vegetable slicer when the wind's strong.
Nice one...but you'll notice how the wind has droppedTypical... Bit like when I got a Telescope ,beautiful clear sparkling skies and then Loli goes out there freezing them off and there's this nice big cloudy sky to greet me@ARMANDII will be able to tell you too Still it's early days ,one thing I can be sure of is plenty of wind and clear frosty nights
Didn't even think about planning Sheal, not a permanent structure though Have you seen the Horsehead nebula yet Loli?
Still up but not charging Got some playing around to do when the wind drops a bit. Somethings not right
Cos the voltage in the battery is greater than the voltage being generated, thus preventing a current flow through any rectifier and the battery itself?
