    Batteries are at 11.5 volts. Checked the flow with me ampeater, the charge controller doesn't kick in till it gets above 12 volts, so while it might be spinning round a lot i'm only getting like 15 seconds of actual charging :th scifD36:

      This is what you need, an electric car with a wind turbine on the roof that keeps the batteries charged as you drive it around, so it doesn't cost anything to run:
