What's your own personal favourite snap of this year? :)

Just had a look thru, although i've got some lovely ones of the kids, thought it best to find a different subject as they're only relevant to me.

    Chose this one. DSCN0353.JPG

I was pleased with this one.....................

It was taken using my zoom lens at a distance of about two metres. The most pleasing thing about it is that I took it freehand. I could have cropped it better though.

While nothing "special" to anyone else's eye ... this is the image which means more to me than any other I took during 2014:-

                      DSCF6593 (640x360).jpg

The entry to my forever home :wub2:
("Letters" is an anagram for "Settler" ;) ) :fingers crossed:

I must have viewed that picture (and its associates!) a million times between choosing the house and calling it home! Thought that day would never come :gaah: But now, I can't imagine being anywhere else :ccheers: (despite its numerous "faults/requirements" :heehee: )

I took this photo back in August while on holiday in Cornwall, on a gentle ramble through the green, rolling countryside on a near perfect summer's day.

It was an idyllic spot, with the only sounds being the occasional bleat of a sheep in the distance and the gently rustling leaves of the trees in the hedgerow behind me.

It was such a perfect, peaceful moment and I just had to try to capture it on camera.
