A couple more that are of no photographic merit but represent something to me.

My cat Sage. At 20 years old I accept the possibility that every summer may be her last and here she is looking very contented with life................

This next photo I like because it represents the end of a three year growing project. The clusters of flowers are Bomarea edulis - a vine that I grew from seed and this is its first year planted out........................

I was hoping that was exactly what this thread would be about, nothing technical, just an emphasis on one's personal favourite pic.

Yeah, kinda. But the problem with that is that such photos tend to mean nothing to other people.

Bless her heart, I also have a 20 year old cat and every day is a bonus.

                      That's better Longk, thanks.

Now, is there any chance you will tell me where to get seed from please? Hold fire on that question......try this one first...... will it exist on a windy, wet, salty island in a sheltered spot? I'm thinking from a less open, new garden, point of view. :)

Yes it should. Will need a two or three years pot growing before planting out, although it will flower in its second year. It's just a climbing Alstromeria so by its third year the tubers cluster should be big enough to plant out successfully.
