Arr, I remember that day, twas in April. Remembered seeing "Tiny" from the fishing club taking pics, didn't think anymore of it till I saw the leaflet.

I was also in a holiday brochure in Yugoslavia in 1973

I can't view it either Sheal - you can't outside the UK, but last time I looked Isle of Man was part of the UK.

 

I've seen it too many times Scrungee. It's amazing how many people think the island is backward. You'd be surprised what we've produced here that is now claimed by England as theirs! A lot of technology produced here is ahead of England and a number of other countries.

Sorry, you're wrong @lost_in_france! The Isle of man is not part of the UK. It is semi-independent, has it's own government and is not part of the EU, although the island is owned by the crown and overseen by the Queen's Governor here. It is addressed as British Isles not UK.

 

Now there's a business opportunity @Sheal set up a video hosting site that's available on the island. You could call it ManTube

 

Nice idea Zigs but there's not much opportunity for anyone to get out there to take videos in this rotten weather!
