I thought that a thread to show of our Echeveria as they bloom might be an idea so here it is.

To get things rolling here is my Echeveria pulidonis which has just come into bloom............

This is a particularly attractive plant in my opinion..............

Echeveria??? Longk shame on you :)

I start to like them as well and try to start a small collection of hardy and strange

I`ve just ordered some seeds of a rare form (take 4/8 weeks to get the seeds )

      echeveria lutea fantasmas

to get the rare you must grow them from seeds saw few more interesting plants in the seeds cataloque

plus on the other side I`ve got the echeveria alpina , considered the hardy of all
can`t wait to try that outdoor

        I have several now :)

        Like that a lot Sal!

E.pulvinata self seeded everywhere without my noticing so I guess that they are easy from seed. Very slow though.

Although I have a lot of young ones coming on in the greenhouse, the ones in a planter outside have all gone to mush as well due to a few -4cs.

@sal73. Mine have been outside for about 8 years, and every year except last (because it didn't really snow) they have to cope with one or two copious snow falls and quite severe frosts. They can sometimes look a bit ropey after a particularly harsh winter, but they usually recover.

Lorea do you know the variety ?

Strongylodon , I think it`s more about the rain that the cold , also i`ve noticed that the same plants grown fron seeds are much more hardier then plants from cutting

No idea Sal. You'll have to judge from the photos when the snow finally goes. It might take a while.. They're under all this uploadfromtaptalk1423938172789.jpg
