Silly old soul

Coming home yesterday after cutting a old friends grass I decided to call and see another old friend who I had not seen for a while. I was in my car with lawn mower and seats folded down.
I decided to park in a farmers store car park which is shared by a garage but near to friends house. I have parked there many times there is plenty of room but this time I was quite late. I came back to my car 5/20pm to find bollards had risen and there was no way out. So this morning I have to go and pick my car and mower up.
You may laugh at my misfortune

 

Oh dear! I hope you don't have to travel far to pick your car up.

 

I was working in Stratford Upon Avon . No room in the town centre hotel car park , so I parked on the square opposite. Sitting down for my breakfast the following morning , I looked across at the square to see they had set up a full Thursday market of about 50 stalls around my car ! It was no parking on Thursday , shown on a 6 foot notice I had walked past. Got a taxi to where I was working and sheepishly collected it that evening

 

Went and got car this morning the salesman grinned when I told him what had happened.
It was probably safer than outside my house. Been lucky so far today but there is still time.
