May i polietely disagree

I dont think muslims are any more susceptible than any one else in any other religions just at the moment that is what the focus is on and is what is happeneing right now. There is the kkk after all who are christians and then there are many cults from Christianity over the years that have done some horrific things. Different things rise up at different times thats all.

 

The really scary thing is when you start to look behind the headlines and discover whos really behind i sis. It will surprise and terrify you at the same time.

 

Have you ever heard of Britain First, or the English Defence League? Ok, as far as I know they've never beheaded anyone. My point is it is absolutely nothing to do with sky fairies. Hatred is hatred. Evil is evil. Evil people will often choose some imaginary cause to hide behind. There are many thousands of Muslims in the UK. If they were all so susceptible to radicalisation, let's say just 10% of them were 'radical' (mental) then we'd have a massive problem. As far as I'm aware, there is no civil war in the UK at present, and my wife has NEVER been told she must cover up and not leave the house unless I escort her, so I'm going to hazard a wild guess that probably Muslims in general are not as susceptible to radicalisation as you suggest. Unless of course it is now considered 'radical' to try to live a decent life, earning a legitimate living, and working alongside people regardless of colour or creed.

 

To be honest, I cant remember ever being threatened by many religious people, but they are, if pushed, capable doing some very strange things in the name of their religion.

So if you go to church to get christened, then to get married and then for your funeral your probably not overdoing it.
Go three times a day and its an obsession.

 

Not as yet, just hope your not around when it happens.

And yes I know there are very right wing organisations in this country, and as you rightly say, they Dont kill people in the streets, the law would clamp down on them very quickly if they did.

Ok, lets agree that the bad guys are hiding behind religion, but thats where the problem starts.
The place is full of potential recruits, and we cant watch them all.

 

My two sons went to a Christian sunday school. Until I found out they were only going for the free chocolate milk and donuts.

 

I find I don't need to watch them all. I leave that duty to the daily express readers.
