Thanks. My parents had one in the garden, growing up a wire fence for years and year when I was growing up and it bloomed all summer. That's why I wanted one now, the mass of blooms, and fond memories of it.

im not going to be contradictory.... some peole may, but as far as im concerned, you'd be fine now, you'd be fine in early spring, and youd would have been fine in november or december - roses are tough.

Hi Slatta Its the English Bluebell which tells me its Spring and the Dahlia which tells me it Autumn,

Mix a bit of bone meal in with the soil that you fill the hole with, bone meal stimulates root growth, and will help to get it going nicely. Don't use rose fertilizer next spring, as you don't want to push them too fast, but if they are looking healthy next summer, back on with your usual...
