Yes, I do know it's not the 2026 yet however I am getting geared up to commence starting my seeds for 2026's chillie crop. I usually start the seeds on Boxing day but this time around, I'm going to change up a bit.

I figure I'll delay starting my Shineybrids to the end of January. I'll be watching here to determine the start date so it will coincide with the new Shineyland greenhouse being commissioned. New starts on both sides of the pond for all things Shiney.

I saved seeds from the jalapenos that grew pointing skyward just as the Shineybrids do :th scifD36: which hints at comingling. Maybe I'll get lucky and the seeds will produce true. It is so much easier to see the fruit when it is pointing upward and not hiding under leaves!

Is anyone else planning their chillie starts?
