    Can anyone tell me if its to late to put cucmber seed in the greenhouse for germination

    I'd start them off on the windowsill indoors first though, it might give them a faster start.

    Cucumber's crop much sooner than Tomatoes etc., so I think you will be OK. My book says they take 12 weeks, but that is from an early sowing when the weather is cold and the light is poor / short days.

    Mine were sown at beginning of March and the first fruit was 10 weeks later.

    (That's in a greenhouse)
